SOS Group now official Partner of ZALUNU in Cameroon and Central Africa

We are very happy to announce you our official Partnership with the SOS Group, based in Cameroon.

SOS Group is a young, dynamic and experienced group of IT and Telecommunication specialists offering innovative, intelligent and effective solutions to meet the company’s needs. They have been working with international partners such as Huawei, HP, CISCO, Citrix, Oracle , AVAYA and more and helping many companies in the region achieving perfectly their goals.

They have a broad knowledge in the African markets and of course in-depth understanding of African culture and existing networks.
As we know, Mobile and digital usage are in rapid growth mode across Africa. Between 2000 and 2010, Africa has grown at 8.7% CAGR in real GDP terms,making it the second fastest growing continent in the world, only behind china-propelled emerging Asia.

Consumer data demand is driven by the need to communicate, by innovative online services and rich-form entertainment. Consumers need digital entertainment in its widest possible form
form, wide offerings currently not distributed by local television or other media, they want to catch up trend of African population towards non linear online entertainment service.

Yes, it’s true that Smartphones represent only a very small proportion of phones in Africa, apart from leading markets such as South Africa (17%). But this will increase for sure rapidly,
possibly faster than most expect, through the grey market (e.g. second hand phones from WE and ME) or low-cost smartphone initiatives (e.g. 4Afrika: Microsoft, Huwaei).

At the same time, Apps are set to become the most important interface between consumers and businesses as mobile consumes more of our time and as apps expand into new device platforms.
In Africa, advancement of network technologies, lowering of mobile data usage costs, growing adaptation of smartphones and the increase in application usability are contributing tremendously to the growth of mobile application usage and therefore mobile Apps like ZALUNU represent  great opportunities for tecommunication providers, like MTN, Orange etc.

Together with SOS Group (leaded by Mr. Cyrille Youmbi), ZALUNU will be actively looking for collaborating with these telecom operators to provide further reach-media and entertainment solutions, in their networks and to their growing customers. More people will be coming online and they would be able to invest in infrastructure to provide better Connectivity, which in fact is empowerement in a continent like Africa.
